DOROT Summer 2024 College Internship Program Application
Please note: We are no longer reviewing applications for summer 2024. We will only review incoming applications if internship positions become available.

Application Process:
1. Complete and submit the online application form.
2. Selected candidates will be contacted for a first-round interview on Zoom.
3. Email acceptances will be sent on or around Feb. 15, 2024.
Internship Opportunity Types and Parameters:

DOROT's Summer College Internship Program will begin on Wed., May 29, 2024.
- 10 Week Program (end date: Thurs., Aug. 8, 2024)
  - Mon. - Thurs. - 9am-5pm
  - Hybrid or in-person; all positions will be based at DOROT’s main office in Manhattan, with the exception of one Westchester placement in White Plains, NY
  - Stipend payment: $2,800
  - Prospective department assignment will be shared prior to the second-round interview, if the candidate moves forward, and confirmed upon acceptance into the program
    
    Potential Internship Placements
- 11 Week Program (end date: Fri., Aug. 16, 2024)
  - Mon. - Thurs. - 9:30am-5:30pm; Fri. - 9am-4pm (later hours will be required for two evening programs during the summer)
  - Stipend payment: $4,200
  - In-person ONLY, based at DOROT's main office in Manhattan
  - Department assigment - Intergenerational Program Engagement

We anticipate that all interns will be present for each working day throughout the internship. Please note: DOROT will be closed on June 12, 13, 19 and July 4 for holiday observances. (Please indicate any scheduling conflicts you may have on your application.)

Please note: All interns must have access to a personal computer that they can use each day of their internship, including in-office days. The intern placed in the Westchester office must have access to a car to get to and from the office as well to go on home visits.
