We’re so glad you’re interested in becoming a DOROT Friendly Visitor. To support you in this new volunteer experience, we’d like to invite you to a one-hour Zoom orientation session where we’ll share about the Friendly Visiting program. Please make sure to sign up below, as this is first step in the onboarding process.

As a reminder, Friendly Visiting is an in-person program offered in Manhattan and Westchester, and all Friendly Visitors must be 18 or older. Friendly Visitors visit older adults in their homes on a weekly or monthly basis. If you can’t manage an in-person commitment, we have many other volunteer opportunities that you can do from home. To learn more about these remote opportunities, or if you are interested in a more general overview of DOROT programs, register for a General Orientation.
